Dennis Heywood

Dennis is President and General Manager of Erickson Realty & Management, Inc. He has over forty (40) years of hands-on experience in all facets of multi-family housing, including development, construction, sales and management. He is a graduate of Chicago State University earning a B.S. with a major in Accounting. Dennis has been a licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois for 40+ years. As an active member of the Community Association Institute, he holds the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation and has completed all requirements and is a candidate for the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation.

Timothy Heywoood

Tim an Account Executive who joined Erickson Realty & Management in March, 2002. He is a graduate of DePaul University with a degree is Real Estate and Finance. Tim has completed the Community Associations Institute (CAI) M-100 course, received his Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation and is also working his way toward the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation. Tim is a licensed Community Association Manager.

Jessica Knight

Jessica joined Erickson Realty & Management in March, 2008 with a background in Real Estate Development and Office Management. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts and Science. Jessica was a Portfolio Property Manager for 7 years with Erickson and has now moved into the dual role of Office Administrator and Manager of the Accounting Department. Jessica is a licensed Community Association Manager in the state of Illinois.

Eileen joined Erickson Realty and Management in 2011 with twenty (20) years of experience in Customer Service and seven (7) years of experience in Portfolio Management. She is a member of the Community Association Institute (CAI) and has completed the CAI’s M-100 course. Eileen is a licensed Community Association Manager in the State of Illinois and currently working towards obtaining her CMCA designation.

Jean Carey joined Erickson Realty & Management in October, 2017 with (25) years of experience in Real Estate Management and Marketing. She has worked in management, as an onsite property manager, and has been a Portfolio Property Manager for the last 6 years. She is a graduate of St. Xavier University with a degree and in Business and Marketing. Jean has completed the Community Association Institute (CAI)M-100 course, received her Certified Manager of Community Associations(CMCA),and is a current member of CAI. Jean is a licensed Community Association Manager in the State of Illinois.

Jennifer joined Erickson Realty & Management in 2010 with the role of Receptionist. In 2015 she obtained her state license in Property Management and in 2016 began working as a Portfolio Property Manager with Erickson. Jennifer has completed the Community Associations Institute M-100 course and is currently working towards obtaining her Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation.

Service Department

Wendie Kasmi

Wendie began working at Erickson Realty & Management in early 2005 as our Receptionist. In 2010 Wendie transferred into to our Service Department. As our Service Coordinator Wendie oversees and delegates all incoming service requests from our customers. She is in regular contact with Boards, Managers, Homeowners and vendors to ensure timely completion of all service requests.

Accounting Department

Maureen Grant

Maureen came to Erickson Management in 2004 coming in with a background as a school secretary. Maureen started working at Erickson in in part-time position and quickly rose to be one of our full-time Bookkeeping pros. In the Accounting Department, Maureen processes all incoming online payments, maintains vendor insurance records and handles the regular bookkeeping on a number of associations that we manage.

Amy Knight

Amy came to Erickson Management in 2001 as part of an early release for work program from High School and we’ve been lucky enough to keep her since. Having worked her way through almost all areas of the company, Amy has settled into the Accounting Department. As Bookkeeper, Amy oversees all ACH client sign-ups, processes the daily lockbox for incoming payments, and handles the bookkeeping on a number of association we manage. Amy also supervises the day to day operations of the Accounting Department.

Terri joined Erickson Management in 2011 in a temporary position that quickly grew to full time. Terri assists the Management Team, the Closing Department and the Accounting Department on a daily basis. Terri also maintains the electronic filing system within the office.

Pat Walega

Pat joined Erickson Management in 2007. She began with the position of a Portfolio Property Manager and shortly transferred into our Closing Department to serve as our Closing Administrator. Pat oversees all facets of real-estate closing transactions for each closing within each community we manage. Pat regularly receives commendation letters from Attorneys, Sellers and Buyers.

Kathy joined Erickson Management in 2017 with nine (9) years of experience in customer support, the last five (5) of which were specifically focused on property management. She currently assists in maintaining the electronic filing system as well as completes all condo questionnaires for the Closing Department.

Support Department

Adeline Barrins
Receptionist

Adeline gladly came out of retirement to join Erickson Management in 2017, as our Monday-Wednesday front desk Receptionist. She previously worked the front desk at an Orthopedic Surgeon’s practice for 11 years. Prior to that, Adeline worked at the Chicago Office of Emergency Management and Communications as a Police Dispatcher. Her 10 year career at Chicago 911 also included joining the Dispatcher/Call Taker Training Staff and the Technical Services Department.

Mary Kiewdrow
Receptionist

Mary was a Portfolio Property Manager with Erickson for roughly three years prior to her retirement in 2016. Luckily for us, Mary came back to Erickson in 2017 as our Thurs-Fri Receptionist as well as providing administrative support as needed.
